Counselling and Psychotherapy
I provide a warm, safe and confidential environment in which you can explore and work through your issue(s) in the way that best suits you.
Counselling is often a persons only experience in their day to day lives of being truly accepted and heard and this in itself is very valuable and rewarding.
Although you do not need a particular issue to attend, It is very helpful in working through;
Death and Bereavement
Relationship Issues
Stress and Anxiety
Negative Thought Patterns
Anger and Frustration
Change
Personal Development
Counselling can be short or long term to suit your needs, I usually recommend a minimum of 6 sessions.
As well as my private practice I hold a voluntary position within the bereavement support service at St Michael's Hospice with specialised experience in baby bereavement.
I have previously gained an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, am an accredited member of The National Counselling Society, and am currently working towards a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
